Registration for CHPS School-Age Child Care (SACC) and Extended Day Child Care (EDCC) for the 2018-2019 school year is now open. Parents may register their children now online.
The recently modified 2018 PARCC assessment schedule is now set. Assessments will begin Monday, April 16, 2018 with high school testing. Middle school testing will begin Friday, April 20, and elementary school testing will begin Thursday, May 3. Middle school will test one unit per day. The elementary school schedule has been extended for two days.
A full schedule, including make-up dates, details the subjects tested on each day. Additionally, high school graduation assessment requirements for the classes of 2016 through 2021 and beyond, as well as a general calendar for all assessments, are now available.

The 2018-2019 High School Course Selection Booklet for both high schools East and West is available online. The booklet also is available in the school libraries, and in the offices of school guidance counselors, principals and assistant principals. Also available online is the High School Course of Study Presentation, presented in January to parents of 8th graders.
The Cherry Hill High School West Guidance Department will be hosting a college information evening program for junior students and their parents/guardians on Wednesday, February 21. The program will be held in the Cherry Hill High School West main Auditorium at 6:30PM. College representatives will be available in the Atrium of the Auditorium to meet with students and families at 6:30 PM. A panel discussion with college admissions officers giving a brief overview of their schools and admissions protocols will begin at 7:00 PM. Parents/guardians and students will have the opportunity to ask questions and to learn about the admissions process from admissions representatives. Below is the list of colleges that will be participating in our panel:

A notice from West Security: There are no longer any student parking spaces available. Therefore, student parking applications are no longer being accepted.

To avoid delays in clearing sports physicals, be sure to turn in your paperwork on time.
- All sections of the physical examination form are completed in ink.
- All sections are completed including vision, blood pressure, pulse and date of physical exam.
- Provide explanations to all yes answers on the history form.
- The clearance box is checked on both pages 3 and 4.
- Include clearance notes with date for any injuries and/or illnesses checked off on the history form.
- The doctor signed the cardiac assessment module on the last page.
- Lastly, check over the forms before submitting them to make sure they are complete.

On May 17, 2017 The Department of Human Services (DHS) honored 14 New Jersey high school and middle school students at an event in Trenton hosted by its Division of Family Development. The students were honored for their winning entries in the 2017 Teen Media Contest, which celebrated the students' artistic portrayal of a favorite weekend memory with their family.
Cherry Hill West's 10th grade student, Sharina Kuo, mentored by art teacher Sandra R. Sharp, won First Place in the High School Division. Winners were chosen based upon their interpretation of the year's theme. In addition to having her hand drawn artwork representing family unity featured in the 2018 calendar, Sharina received a plaque of achievement, an American Express gift card, and a pair of day passes to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.
All winning entries will be displayed in the Statehouse Annex Tunnel from May 22-24.

Cherry Hill High School West art students won big in the PAT's Select Pizza/Grill Pizza Box Design Contest. Working with art teachers, Sandra R. Sharp and Andrea Savidge, Michelle Karadonis of PAT's Select Pizza/Grill of Cherry Hill, held an art competition for students to design artwork for a new pizza box. Fifty-one entries were submitted by West students in grades 9-12, and winners were selected by a judge's panel at Pat's Select Pizza/Grill.
On May 17th, 2017, Ms. Karadonis came to the Annual West Art Show to present a $1,000 award to the Cherry Hill High School West Art department in support of continuing art education at the highest level. In addition, students received first, second, third place, and honorable mention prizes of $300, $150, $75, and $25 gift certificates, respectively.
10,000 pizza boxes are being printed with Sharina Kuo's 1st place design, and will be distributed throughout the Cheery Hill Community in the Fall.

Select summer enrichment classes are still open at Cherry Hill High School East in drama, art, photography, graphic design, model rockets, knitting, chess and more for Cherry Hill residents entering grades 5-11. Course descriptions and registration form are available online. Please submit registration form and payment ASAP.
The Cherry Hill Public Schools Guidance Department offers three summer courses to high school students/residents preparing to write their college essay and take the PSAT, SAT and/or ACT exam. Sessions for each course run from July 31-August 3 and August 7-10, with morning, afternoon and evening hours available. Click the links below for details and registration forms for each course.

All Cherry Hill Public Schools are closed for Spring Break from Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14, 2017. Schools will reopen for all students and staff on Monday, April 17, 2017 – the makeup day for the inclement weather closure on March 14.
